Church Workday

As we head into winter, our 100+ year old building needed a little sprucing up... So, we spent the better part of a Saturday working on all kinds of projects-- sanding, painting, fixing, cleaning, re-arranging, moving, and more. The donuts, bagels and coffee kept us fueled-- thank you to everyone who helped!

Refugee Welcome Week

Back in August, we spent a week working with families who recently arrived in Providence from all over the world. This is an annual outreach of our church-- playing games, doing crafts, telling stories, making snacks, and going to the beach with a great group of refugee kids and parents. Here are some pictures...

Summer BBQ Series

Every Tuesday in July and August, we gathered on the front lawn of PPC for a BBQ. This is a chance to enjoy some good food, to talk with an old friend, or to meet some new people. We invited all of our neighbors to join us and had a great time this summer. Our coordinator and cook each week has been Sean Padden-- he made it happen, along with a great group of volunteers... All-Church Picnic

Celebrating the end of the Church School Year and the beginning of summer, we had our annual picnic at Lippett Park, down the street from the church. It was a relaxing time and a beautiful day!
